FIA to 'assess forthcoming events' for F1 and WEC in Middle East amid Iran war
FIA president Mohammed Ben Sulayem says the governing body is closely monitoring the security situation in the Middle East following the escalation of conflict between the US and Iran. Several F1 and WEC events are scheduled in the region, including the Bahrain and Saudi Arabian Grands Prix. The FIA says the safety and wellbeing of participants, staff, and spectators will be the primary consideration in deciding whether these events proceed as planned.
